Hi, I’m Carolyn Xu, a 12-year-old student at Skyview Middle School. My hobbies include playing the piano and violin, photography, and crafting vibrant creations by hand. Evan Wang
Website Designer and Maintainer
Hey there, I’m Evan, and I’m currently in the 7th grade at Skyview. I’m an active member of the H.A.Y team, where my responsibilities include crafting our “About Us” section, managing our “Contact Us” information, and occasionally contributing to our design work.
When I’m not busy with school and H.A.Y team tasks, you can often find me out on the soccer field, indulging in my passion for soccer. I’m also an avid gamer and enjoy diving into video games, along with a variety of other sports activities. One thing you should know about me is that I’m a die-hard Barcelona fan, and I’m always excited to chat about their matches and achievements.
I’m looking forward to getting to know more about you and everyone else here at Skyview!

Felix Wu
Website Designer and Maintainer
Hello! I’m Felix, a 14-year-old who plays a role in designing HAY’s website. My one and only hobby is gaming, but my passion for empowering and supporting kids in achieving their dreams through HAY has deeply resonated with me. I joined HAY because I believe in the organization’s mission wholeheartedly. As a young person myself, I understand the importance of having guidance, support, and resources to chase one’s dreams. HAY’s commitment to helping kids reach their full potential inspired me to get involved. In my role with HAY, I will continue to contribute to the organization’s digital presence and outreach efforts. My work on the website has already helped HAY reach a broader audience, and I plan to further enhance its online presence to make an even more significant impact. If you have any questions or would like to know more about how HAY is making a difference in the lives of young people, feel free to contact me at 69sxne@gmail.com Together, we can continue to support and inspire the youth in our community to reach for the stars!

Kathleen Shang
Social Media Developer
Writing Program Leader
Hi! My name is Kathleen Shang, and I am an 11th grader at Northgate High School. I enjoy working with children, working in my Sports Medicine program, and writing fictional stories! I also love coffee, milk tea, sleeping in, and watching my favorite shows. One of my goals when I get older is to visit every single continent, and possibly see a celebrity in the wild. At HAY, I am the leader of the Youth Writing Program, in hopes to provide those that are inexperienced with more knowledge of how to write about a variety of genres, or improve skills for those that already have a passion in writing. I hope to lead more engaging classes at HAY in the future for interested youth!

Tristan Ye
Website Designer and Maintainer
I’m Tristan Ye, a freshman at Inglemoor High School in Kenmore, Washington. Outside of the classroom, you’ll often find me on the soccer field, engrossed in a game of chess, strumming my guitar, coding, and diving into video games. But one unique aspect of my life is my role as a volunteer at HAY, a local non-profit organization. I contribute by helping build and maintain their website.
Soccer has been a constant in my life, teaching me teamwork, dedication, and resilience, qualities that prove invaluable in my role at HAY, where collaboration and commitment are essential.
Chess is another hobby I’m passionate about, providing me with strategic thinking skills and the ability to stay composed under pressure. My love for playing the guitar lets me connect with others through music, which has proven to be a source of personal fulfillment.
Coding and video games are additional interests of mine, offering me a creative outlet and a chance to explore problem-solving in the digital realm.
As a freshman, I may be new to high school, but my commitment to HAY’s mission is unwavering. My volunteer work involves blending my diverse interests and skills to contribute to the development and operation of HAY’s website, which plays a vital role in our community outreach efforts.
